While most of us in our general area have been relatively screwed in the last couple years, you folks in the easter, lower areas on the "other side" of the fall line have been particularly effed in that time. Glad to see you guys cashing in hard!

Totally Agree!  So happy for those who are usually on the wrong side of the line.

Man...that cutoff is just brutal. As WxUSAF said, that could pay huge dividends for those of us not far south of the cutoff, but I feel for the folks north of it.

So True.  I'm right on the cutoff in the SW Part of Carroll County and we have a bout .5 on the ground with flurries for the past 2 hours.  My daughter was pissed that they  only had a 2 hour delay today. :-)

@Jihey man, I've been putting a lot of time into my guitar playing over the last 2 years and have gravitated away from electric to acoustic. Wasn't a plan. Just happened. I picked up a Yamaha fgx830c acoustic/electric that sounds stupid good plugged in but my amp is 100% geared towards electrics. I need another practice amp for the Yamaha. Not a tube or anything "expensive". Just a good clean channel amp with built in basic effects. I almost bought the Spark Amp but held off. Any suggestions? Have an old but good amp you want to sell?

What music are you into?  I wanted to take the time to learn how to play guitar but really need to make the time to put into that effort.  I think that in a year or two after all of my kids are in college......I might have some free time to put into that.

Thanks! This is my first year at fantasy and I did it reluctantly. A place I work needed one more so I did it and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Especially when my team got all banged up and hot with Covid. It was fun piecing together a team. I feel pretty good about how I did, especially since I had over 80 transactions. Obviously our league was a flat pay and do as many transactions that you want. I had the most by far. And the most on IR too.

I still don’t know what I’m doing, but it was fun.

i started to listen to the XM channel 87 a few years back.  That helps since you get advice from multiple "experts".  At the same time you learn what to look for in players and weekly trends.  I'm not great at it, but have lucked out this year.   :-)

I somehow won the first round a couple weeks ago, but lost last weekend because I didn’t pick the Dallas defense. I had the opportunity to take them and couldn’t because I’m wtf fan. What a homey move. My opponent ended taking them and beat me by 20 points. Dallas D score 26 points.

Going for third place and breaking even for the year today.

I have 2 today and a 3rd place game.   I'll probably win one and the 3rd place game.

    Good luck to you!

Taking some time this morning to head down to Cambridge in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the snowy owl that has been reported there. If not, a Christmas Eve lunch of oysters and beer will be on tap.

Going to RAR?  They just had a nice drop.

I usually am very scientific and spend time researching my draft order - over that sht so decided to auto draft.  Clearly computers are smarter than me.

I’ve got Taylor and Kupp.  Ekeler has been good for me too.

I was lucky enough to pull the trifecta of a bye in each of my 3 leagues.  That almost never happens.  I have a combo of Kupp, Adams, Ekler, Brady and Henderson on 2 of the three teams which has been very nice.

I also lucked out with free agent additions like Moore and Guyton (this past weekend) at opportune times througout the season.

I'll never have a year a good as this one.

Good luck to you both in the playoffs!

I debated not saying anything but I have Covid. I had all 3 Moderna shots so I will probably be fine.  Thought I had the flu since I’ve been taking care of my daughter and son who both had the flu. But tested positive today.

Take care of yourself and rest up.

It's unreal, the difference, right? I am still in shock over the difference.

I'm happy that both of you are able to enjoy the evening sky now.  It is really amazing how much light pollution exists until you are able to get away from it.  My neighborhood has the amber street lights, but if you walk to the middle of the park across the street, or look up from the deck behind the house and it's a great view.

    Enjoy!

I guess I am now, don’t know how to feel about that.

I hate to say it this way without sounding like a cliché, but just take it one event at a time.    Focus on your your race plan at the start of each race and then reset when getting ready for the next one.

One track meet a long, long time ago, I had to fill in for the 3200 relay, then run the hurdles next.   It wasn't that bad, but I know that swimming is a lot different.

Good luck and let us know how you do.
