  1. Messy start here, then.... BOOM!!?? Lake enhanced burial?
  2. Ok, I was really close on this one. This map I made looks like Christmas Eve pm, but my text forecast is good for Christmas day with clds and snow showers and LES events for most everyone, along with the colder temps. One more holiday to go. Will I get that one?
  3. 3-5" around here with this system. Wet snow at 30degF. Finland, Isabella haven't reported yet, and they ended up with more I think. Radar showed stronger returns that way for a longer period of time.
  4. Nice clipper system too bring me 1-3" of snow. Maybe more if the Lake can bring its influence. 3-6" on the top end, especially for the hills.
  5. Christmas models are looking a lot like this forecast I put out. A few days to go though.
  6. 1" of snow here from last night, but melting away a bit with the Sun.
  7. Very cold day with a high of 9 and a low of 3 this morning. Front coming tomorrow so some light snow again. A little WAA with the warm front moving through.
  8. Same amount here. Ground looks the same here at my place
  9. Here's a Christmas a.m. forecast from the gov runs. Close call if that ends up right.
  10. Weather is BORING!! around here. Oh well. Nice is good, too. Need snow tho lest the frost go to deep and cause lots of issues with septic systems.
  11. More like a drastic difference than just 6 weeks ago.
  12. The "Fallness of 2020" continues as I posted in my "holiday forecast" post. The crazy ups and downs. Love it. Enjoy it guys!!
  13. Fall's about over, so here is how I did with my 3 month outlook. Pretty close.
  14. It looks like a storm front will be passing through the Lakes region over the July 4 weekend followed by high pressure. It's very possible that the entire region should be under that influence by eve of the 4th for good viewing of the works. Even a chill in the air is possible for some. Another front will be knocking on my door that night or the next day.
  15. So it looks like the weather I was expecting for T-Day weekend is happening today. The maps are very close. The weather map for Thanksgiving tho is similar to what I had, but the weather is not. So I missed it by a couple days.
  16. Light snow falling here. Nothing major. Just like Sunday where we had maybe an inch.
  17. Gov models continue to show something for T-Day. Few days to go tho.
  18. Just a little more here. Dec is looking to be a mixed bag like we have seen so far this Fall. Dec is still technically Fall until the Solstice so why not continue the Fallness of 2020 Anyway, I think Dec ends up near avg to above avg for the region. Come Jan tho, I think we start seeing the cold being more prevalent than the warmer weather(which will show up), and the end of Jan into early Feb shows signs of being brutally cold. In fact, Feb as whole looks really cold.
  19. Duluth is at 20" at the moment. And that's nearly a quarter of our seasonal avg.
  20. They are, and also younger bucks. I have some big boys on the wall, but also younger upstarts as well.
  21. My daughter-in-law shot her deer already as opener was this past weekend. My son still waiting to get his chance. Tasty critters. I have quite a few racks on my wall from years of hunting.
  22. 3-6" of snow around here, with 6-10" much more west(NW to SW) of the Lake. Snow this time of year really helps keep things bright on a sunny day like today, but it'll slowly melt away as temps forecast to be above freezing during the upcoming aftrns. Looks pretty wet and sloppy for the upcoming weekend with rain over to snow. Back to normal Nov weather after a gorgeous Indian Summer pt 2 or 3 or 4 (can't remember how many now since the freeze of early Sept)
  23. Duluth set monthly record at 75, so that exceeds the old record (73 11/4/2020, 11/3/1903). Should be a bunch more records that bit the dust for the daily and monthly around the broader region, again.
  24. Sure, why not. Elections, critters, and weather (ECW for short). Seems I remember a wrestling franchise like that, which was rather wild. Seems to fit. Oh, and BTW, I don't see 2021 being boring either. At least in the weather dept.
