    Great rant lol! Heck I chased 4 miles north to highway 98 and I had 2 freaking minutes of granule. Wake freaking Forest had a quick dusting of all places- they sometimes luck out in weird events. I would have taken what BullCity had compared to what we got.

    I got 8 inches 2 years ago on that Sunday morning and 2 more the next day about 4 miles north of RDU. Last year we got 3 inches. The year before was 8 inches. Yes, Raleigh south has been low. My oldest son at State just got 2 inches from the December 2018 event that I got 10 inches. Something will pop up at some point.

    Let’s move on to the 20th or so now. We seem to always luck out about 5 miles north east of RDU airport, but not tonight. This was never a good situation and we got sucked in without good temperatures. Never a good recipe unless you have a perfect situation.

    Eric Webb (Twitter) just posted the 500 mb model trend towards a positive PNA. Pretty interesting. It may not mean much until it gets colder in Canada, but still a cool trend.
