    It rarely snows and accumulates in southeastern NC but it averages out to about an inch in Wilmington. That’s where I grew up. I actually averaged more during my time there. In 1973 we got about 16 “ total for season. We officially got like 4-5 in 1980 (it was over my car in drifts so that was suspect). And, we got like 3 inches in late March 1983. After I left, they got like 15 inches one Christmas in 89 or 90.

    How far north in Durham County are you Bull City? I’m right on the Durham/Wake line about 3-4 miles north of Brier Creek.

    It was a quick shot of snow on 6z European,but could stick nice. Too early. It would be best to get a big slug into the low dew points to maximize.

    6z European models showed a little something according to Allan Huffman in the northern half of Wake and points east as I recall.

    We were looking good for a little while but you will likely still see something (you’re still in Wake Forest I assume). Regardless, we have officially had a Brick Tamland post so this is an official threat in my book!
