    ^So, the same as last time? Trends started going bad in the last day, and went back last minute.

    Cool. Yes, the jackpot looks like it's right on us. Not too far in the future either, so we should do pretty well. This has been a check of a winter so far, I really hope it continues.

    Seems a little far east, no? Most guidance seems better for Eastern Ohio, but either way. Looks good here.

    December record 36.3", probably a stretch, #2 however, is just over 26", maybe a #2 December! All models, long and short range seem to paint 3"-6".

    2017 we had 1.4” I believe early in the morning. 2010 had snow on the ground.

    Yeah, everybody seems oddly confident in this situation. Hopefully, that's good news, but it brings big bust potential.

    Does this event seem to have more confidence from forecasters than usual? Seems these types of situations are tricky and forecasts are always low, and conservative.

    Yeah, that's bare minimum, and very possible.

    High end of 8” is interesting. Let’s make it three over 6” in December, lol!

    I feel more confident that the WPC is putting us in pretty good accumulations. They can obviously change, but they always seem more conservative.

    I was just going to post this, lol! Hopefully, we get it. Also, KDKA just showed a model run of Christmas Eve and showed the temperature getting near 60! I’ve only seen around 50 at the highest. Is 60 possible? I really hope not.

    Guess it depends on the low riding up the front. I just want a white Christmas, so whatever it takes.

    Christmas Snow From Accuweather, they put us in 3-6".

    Just for laughs, the loooooooooong range CFS, has us flirting with all time record cold in mid-January, with about 14" of snow on the ground.

    Officially 19” this December. Can we make it the ninth December to reach 20” and the first in 17 years? I’d say it looks pretty good to do it. the ultimate slap in the face though would be to have all this snow and a green Christmas.

    Wonder if the system tonight comes in colder? It was supposed to be 39 today looks like the airport made it to just 33! Must have been colder overall today.

    Maybe it's in that 4-6 day window where it loses the right track, lol. Hopefully it'll come back to a better solution.

    Thanks. Yes, lots of time and solutions left. Will be interesting. Whatever happens though, I hope there is snow on the ground for Christmas.

    So, with the possibilities for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as it stands on the models now, is it better to be farther west in PA right now?

    Euro is showing a version of this, just much less. After a cold front seems odd though.

    Day 7, a chance for Christmas. And cold weather for Christmas. Looks pretty good. And, I know we all need a little model watching break, but the Euro is interesting for the 24th into the 25th. It's a front passage that transitions to snow and drops a lot. Looks like near 6" inches in the area, give or take it a short time. Could be interesting, since the Euro did pretty well for this storm. Not sure where it was at Day 7 though?

    Ended up with another 1.3" on top of the 9.4" from the storm yesterday. Two day total of 10.7". Monthly total up to 17.5", 9th snowiest December ever.

    Took a walk. Some areas were unplowed and untouched, and it was tough, lol. Deep snow, but the park I walked through looked amazing.
