  1. This Spring feels quite similar to last spring, overall. Warm/low snow March, cool/average April, cool May turning seasonable/warmer. Not sure what it means for the summer, seeing as this winter and last winter were very different. Here's one persons take. https://wx4cast.blogspot.com/2021/05/the-2021-summer-outlook-for-northeast.html?fbclid=IwAR0orFXekTkoFKKhdEqLIXduZ7z1FQHK-6qNJN1OfrRrRUQbiXz_IPjeY6k
  2. Yesterday it had Monday in the 70s, pushing it further back, lol.
  3. Still too far away for me to get excited, but luckily the Euro shows the good stuff and the GFS is on its own.
  4. Like I said earlier, if it flipped to summer after this crappy stretch, i'm fine. The cold has been hanging on far too long at this point, move on to summer.
  5. I know a cold May is meaningless (look at last year). It's just that May can be one of the nicest month we get because of nice 65-75 degree days with sunshine. This ain't it so far, and its gross, lol.
  6. I was 7, so I don't remember, but I also don't want anything to do with it.
  7. God no! If we see this on the 23rd, I'll go insane.
  8. This time of year give me 90s, October, give me this temperature, not rain.
  9. Average May weather is very enjoyable, some of the nicest weather you can have, but if we go right into the 80s and 90s I be fine with it. This cold is just too annoying at this point.
  10. Looks like radar says heavy snow in the Grove City area. Gross.
  11. For me, it makes sense that at the end of that period it makes more sense to compare it to the same year. 2020 to 2020. Anyway looks like 40s an rain all day, welcome to March guys.
  12. Yeah 1991-2020 average makes more sense to compare May 2020 to rather than 2010 averages.
  13. I just looked today, it says we were 3 degrees below average for May last year. And that's the point, longevity. If this lasts three weeks and has 8-12 degrees below average on many days, it will be colder than last. May. Only positive about last May, was that it was dry. This one doesn't seem to have that going for it so far.
  14. "soaring" lol. Average high is 70 at this point. Be interesting to see how cold this May ends up, because it would take many days in the 80s and maybe even 90s at the end of the month to turn it arpound once this cold breaks.
  15. Absolutely sickening. This May could be worse than last year, as it doesn't seem to want to get to even 65 anytime soon. Plus, I think we can put drought concerns to bed.
  16. The NWS updated the averages for each month and it reflects in their monthly reports. Every month looks to have gotten cooler relative to normal. April, for example went from slightly above average last week to slightly below with the new figures released.
  17. Well a week of 10 degrees below normal in May is something I consider bad. It's not for me. A week of 10 below normal in January sign me up, a week of 10 below normal in the Spring and Summer, no thank you.
  18. Looking at the models this morning, seeing possibly 4-7 days consecutively with highs in the 50s, into mid May, not appealing.
  19. Not convinced it doesn't get there at this point.
  20. Looks like a gross, cold stretch coming up. This is not welcome in May.
  21. Mother's Day always seems to gave the worst weather.
  22. Looks like we'll end up with a basically average Apriul temperature wise, a little dry, but a little snowy too. Accuweather Summer Forecast Accuweather says average temp, but stormy start to summer, then drier and hot for August. We'll see. The last truly hot August (I consider that more than 2 degrees above average) was 2016.
