  1. Just that kind of winter. If snow continues tonight we’ll probably have better coverage by morning with no light to work against the snow.
  2. Is it shocking? January has been over 8 degrees above average region wide. Aside from the bitter air around Christmas, which probably caused a bit of ice, it hasn't been sustained enough, I would think. Also, looks like the short range models are underdoing the snow on radar today. Maybe we'll get something to write home about today.
  3. It's a joke, plus it will be ready for when March rolls around. I don't see the harm.
  4. Yeah, I don’t think that’s true. Maybe just check out for this winter and come back ready for next year. I mean if it’s so permanent why have we had recent good winters?
  5. What is also unbelievable is long range GFS, lol. Not even worth fretting over at this point. Within a week is worth worrying about, heck it changes within 24 hours.
  6. Thank God the back end mass of rain dried up a bit. Wasn't looking forward to a soaking.
  7. Still snow in Downtown, fat flakes, so probably a lot of snow still. Oop, nevermind. It's over, lol.
  8. Can't wait for rain in an hour. What I really don't want to see is heavy rain that looks like it aims for us. The snow then dry slot depiction on the models yesterday was preferable, not the dry slot, some snow then heavy rain. I'm over winter. I don't care what happens in February.
  9. What does this mean in general? I assume it doesn't mean where the actual r/s line sets up.
  10. Same thing they said for this system too, and there is largely accumulation, so...maybe they're just staying lower.
  11. Looks like Wednesday we need to rely on a heavy thump early, then it mostly dries out, but warms up. Could help retain some pack if there isn't too much rain.
  12. Got some overnight. Maybe an inch on the car this morning. I'll take it. I guess the positive in this is the NWS was wrong, by a good margin for totals. Maybe they'll be too conservative for Wed.-Thurs. as well?
