    At this point a couple inches is all I'd be rooting for. We'll see for sure, but things are picking up a bit.

    There are opportunities. The 7th looks particularly interesting at this point. We’ll see if anything hits.

    I agree, things are cyclical. We can look at areas like Russia and China that are having historically cold and snowy winters right now. We’ll cycle back to that at some point. Pittsburgh’s average snowfall went up at the turn of the last decade. That shows conditions were overall snowier. A few bum years are to be expected. Hysterics by some are unnecessary and exhausting.

    Yes, and we are all frustrated, you aren’t the only one. Can you please just give it a rest with the negativity though, and stop letting this run your life. It’s weather, you can’t control. Some just want to come here and enjoy themselves, not constantly see annoying, repetitive complaints.

    January’s cancelled on December 26th guys. Pack it in. Truly insane comments here.

    Is that considered an overrunning event? I’ve always been a little unclear on what constitutes that kind of event exactly. I believe the Feb.5-6, 2010 storm was an over runner. That gave my area over 20”. Would love to see one like that again.

    Yeah is seems pretty consistent to be showing something. Isn’t that always the first step, have something to track, and get the rest in place later?

    Truly, if you have a block button use it on him. I had to stop posting in the W. PA thread. The negativity from him is too much. It’s only weather, you can’t let it ruin every aspect of your life, but he does. But, anyway, I’d lock that run in in a heart beat. Hopefully, the GFS is on to something. Seems it can sniff stuff out from this distance, then loses it, only for it to come back. We’ll see though.

    Yeah, this is overachieving at this point, in my opinion. If this continues through the night, it should be pretty successful.

    The airport has started reporting snow mixing with the rain. Though it is still warm, that seems earlier than expected.

    I’m not sure you or Tim would be satisfied with anything. We could get 3” and you guys would still bitch that it wasn’t 4.

    Yeah, this is definitely a band dominant event. Hopefully, we’ll get lucky.

    Now even accurate anymore, it updated higher, lol. Point and click from the NWS even says 1-2” on Monday night.

    Accuweather is still at 1-3” too.
