  1. Maybe the year of the overachiever here! The 1st and this storm have both been bigger than expected.
  2. NWS recorded 3" in 3 hours, they are up to 7.3". Double digits are coming, maybe a foot? Looks like the Cold Conveyor belt did set up.
  3. Yes, they mentioned on the noon news between 2pm and 9pm possibly 1/2" to 1" per hour rates.
  4. I looked and it seems like that hole in Ohio fills as it moves towards PA. Maybe more saturated here? Also, is the HRRR the model to looked at right now. I mean obviously, real time is the best determinant, but the HRRR seems the shortest scale model.
  5. I'm in the City, mine is also 1-3" both day and night. Monroeville is not that far, so that's odd that it would be that different. Although it looks like there could be about 2" out there already.
  6. On the 1st, most of that fell during the day. I went out and took at walk in it.
  7. Looking beautiful out there. Anybody know the last time we had a December with two storms produce more than 6"? Especially two before Christmas (assuming this gets us to at least 6").
  8. Yeah, if those mixed/warmer areas want to go to the border that's fine, as long as it throws heavy bands up here.
  9. True, but that warm nose usually knows just how to flood the entire area, lol. We'll see though. Rates have picked up again.
  10. Had a nice burst, coated the ground and pavement. Small flakes now, but definitely more than flurries. Really hope to see those big fat flakes and heavy rates at some point today, and ideally lasting for a long while.
  11. It is very close for me then. I'm in the south end of the City in Carrick.
