I have a gut feeling we'll get more snow. But I agree, I temp watch more as we get to March. I need two weekend days at 55 plus so I can get the old VW painted!

Yup, noticed that a couple days back going into work at 5:30. Time change coming in a couple weeks...

We haven't gone to NH for a number of years because of the insane amount of the fish and game cops. It gets ridiculous when you get stopped several times a day for registration checks etc. Its maddening after a while!! No such issue in VT and Maine

Absolutely not!! Without looking back through my notes, 1989 comes to mind. Memories of wiring houses in February practically in a t shirt. So many 80s Winters were terrible.

Problem with Maine is trails are BORING compared to VT. NH just has too many trail police. Frustrating as hell to be stopped every few intersections being asked for registration etc

I was just thinking about this. With all the talk around here the last couple weeks you'd almost assume its April 10th. I'd love a mild March this year...have an old car to paint and assemble. Its just a hunch based on nothing but years of weather watching, but I have a feeling winter ain't done yet

The very storm that got me interested in the weather! I was very young, but remember it like yesterday!

OK, I NEVER come into threads like this.. but I just had to look. I'm assuming you are fairly young because of comments like this. One thing I've learned since watching the weather as a hobby since 1978 in SNE area is you never, never, never look at a long range forecast especially Winter and take it to heart in any way, shape or form. I mean it's nice to look at possible seasonal trends but forecast a whole season.. forget it! If you think the past couple years are bad, you should see what we went through around here from like 1982 through 1991. Let's just hope we're not starting another decade like that

The rain just changed to sleet mixing with snow in Westfield. Temp down to 35.5. We still have a really good snow cover in the yard, approximately 6 inches

Still 39 at home at 5:30 am. 44 at my shop in Simsbury. Some heavy fog on the way in. Still about 8-9 inches in Westfield, only about 5 or 6 at the office
