Yea this was what I was afraid of. Pushed back our first ski runs till tomorrow since today is a wash out. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny but 50! Guess we should be thankful there is any snow at all but the next couple weeks aren't looking great for more snowmaking. Hope your big gathering went well! We overdosed on food and took advantage of the sunny mid 50s to walk some calories off

If its not gonna be cold enough for snow I'd rather it be dry. No point in washing away all the snow Wisp has made . I was all excited to try out my new snow tires but it doesn't look like I'll need them for this trip.

Is bunting banned in MLB these days? I'm a Phillies fan when local teams stink and couldn't believe they didn't tell the #9 hitter to bunt with 1st and 3rd, one out. The game was lost on the difference in fielding (Houston made their plays, Philly had some bobbles and errors).

Spent an extra day in Deep Creek where it was sunny and warmish. Came home to drizzle and blah. Big difference over 150 miles.

10/10 day in Western MD. 60s and sun was actually warm while moving leaves. Needed to layer up while hiking because it was cool in the shaded areas but warm when then sun poked out..

I would also agree with Swallow Falls. It is a wide flat path and boardwalk getting to Muddy Creek Falls (with nice overlook area). The loop from Muddy Creek to Swallow is an easy hike but does have rocks and roots that you need to be able to climb over. My 70+ mom and 4 year old have done it. Swallow Falls also has a nice open area with picnic tables and a playground that we like to bring lunch and hang out. Deep Creek Lake State Park has a discovery center which is pretty cool and our kids love. There are several playgrounds, picnic tables, and a short easy hike right next to discovery center and it has a big parking lot, so easy in easy out. We will be up taking advantage of the extra long HoCo school weekend

There is a lack of QB talent in the NFL right now The NFL is no longer built for ground and pound. The play calling and coaching has been head scratching at times. The penalties are insane. The good news is the NFL has gotten the "parity" they so longed for, and other than the top 2/3 teams its going to come down to a bunch of 10-6, 9-7 teams figuring out who has the tie breaker for wildcards. If we get healthy and don't lose any more to injury, the end of the season might get interesting.

Also ironic that the bungles went for it on 4th down and didn't get it, left 3 points on the field.
