I notice things. Not sure why that is, but I'm one of those people who doesn't have many an original idea, but I have a knack for observing and commenting.
12z yesterday had a 957mb bomb about 60 miles off the southern Delmarva. Dropped 25"+ from central NC up through the Peninsula region and up into southern MD.
I popped into the SE forum to see if they've started a thread for the upcoming biblical Sou'easter and noticed that there's a long-time, but infrequent, poster named Jonah who is from Cumming, GA.
I got stuck overnight at Scott AFB about 15 years ago due to an overperforming snowstorm. I was supposed to fly out in the evening, but flights got cancelled. Had a few pleasant Jebwalks that evening while getting set up in executive quarters for the night...though it probably would have been a little more fun getting stuck in the city itself!
And that's my St. Louis story.
It's more like 7am-12pm, looking at the instantaneous hourly precip on TT.
Either way, it should be ripping with good dendritic growth from about 8-10.
