Took a few pictures during a morning walk along the Liberty Bell Trail. Still deep snowcover, including packed snow along the whole trail. Probably take a bit of a hit today, but should still be pretty significant by this evening.

Noticed the same on this morning's pupwalk. Really pretty pinks with orange hues. Currently 23 in Burke. Didn't realize it's supposed to get into the mid- to upper-40s today until I just checked wunderground. I'm guessing we'd be well into the 70s if not for the snowpack.

Dude…you need to stop with this. You’ve been at this long enough to know that anything past 5-7 days is prone to huge swings, especially in a non-blocky pattern! We're going to have plenty of chances coming up over the next month, and we won’t have confidence in most of them more than 3-4 days out. Let’s keep an eye on things but not invest one way or another!

It had a blizzard for this sub for like 1.25 runs. The rest of the time it had essentially the same event that transpired.

Pretty much human nature. We don’t want bad things to happen, so we try to wish good things into existence and we don’t want to get carried away when things seem to be too good. There’s also the whole PTSD thing from sucking pretty hard for pretty much the last eight years…

Measured 1.0” on the dot at 8:00 am and nearby reports are 1.0-1.5”, still go with my measurement. That was the low end of my expectations and I’m fine with that!

Just popped my head out when letting the dog out for a pee. Looks like we’ve had some rimed flakes in Burke, but that’s about it. You can see the individual flakes - nothing coated.

Yeah…you can tell we score at least something there. I hate flipping (with a f’ing passion), but we ride the line and accept what happens. It’s just really neat to see the obvious CAD on a view of the entire continent. Super geeky.

I haven't been anywhere farther than maybe 1.5 miles away since the storm, so my perspective is pretty limited...but I've only seen roads that are fine, including my 13-home cul-de-sac. Like yours, mine was addressed very quickly and efficiently - we were essentially snow-free by noon on Tuesday. It's just interesting to hear that they've screwed up so royally that streets like ours are fine but others are a mess.
