Well it depends what you consider harsh. when I say harsh it means prolonged bn cold with arctic intrusions and at least average or above snow. That really doesn't qualify many winters in SNE, honestly. Neutral ENSO or a weak signal in general doesn't add much confidence jmo

We have had a few passing showers at best. ~.40" hope one of these upcoming systems can produce more than a half inch, because I see a lot of Canadian HP in the extended.

We hope for a 1/10,000 year megastorm. 960mb low parked right over 40/70 for one week. the Bourne and Sagamore mangled steel crashing into the canal... the storm widens the canal to seven miles across. With a mangled power grid, folks are ferried off of the broken islands and they are never to be inhabited again.
