  1. SW eyewall definitely looks somewhat eroded.
  2. I doubt there is enough time to matter much, but every little bit helps I guess. That surge is going to be severe if not devestating.
  3. My familys house in Beaumont is around 16' asl iirc, pretty far inland. Thankfully Laura looks a bit east
  4. Cranky is awesome, and knows how to play SM for visibility
  5. It will be a long two weeks tracking our '38
  6. Ten seconds of west views driving on rt. 3 near exit 2-3.
  7. It has been boring besides the TS, true. But boring is good too, loads of beach days and quiet, warm nights to relax outside. Can't say the same for a dry, frigid suppressed winter
  8. saying 70mph inland is nbd is not correct. Especially sustained 70 with higher gusts as again Rita had. It was a disaster
  9. Rita tore up those areas though, I was there pre and post Rita and can confirm.
  10. SE TX is fairly well populated, right through Lake Charles LA. I-10. The notion it is one big empty swamp is pretty lol, mostly people who have never been or lived there
  11. I just saw a flash near Hubbdave. Congrats
  12. Oh there will be storms with heavy downpours, maybe a nice broken squall line. Not expecting much here
  13. Tomorrow looks pretty iso for coverage, and a potentially dry cfp Tuesday. Not good
  14. Typical 7/10 here, at least we keep the drought.
