My old weather station went belly up over the summer. No matter what I did I couldnt get it to work anymore. Picked up a $61 Sainlogic off Amazon on a Black Friday sale. Set it up this morning and I am actually shocked how well it works for what I paid for it. These things have come a long way from the old days.

Euro was pretty bad last year if we are being honest. This will be the first time this season we get to do some model comparisons. My WAG is we get a small thump to slop. More North and west obviously. When all else fails just go with climo.

GFS is actually a lot colder at the surface than 6Z. Actually it is colder at all levels.

That cold over Canada on the ICON is legit. Lack of sleep is going to be an issue over the next few days.

Weak Nina's arent the end all. My question is how much has the background state changed since 2000? I am not hating what I am seeing so far. A white Christmas would be nice for a change. 2009 and 2020 were the last two out this way.
