  1. Rain/snow mix now west of Winchester. 33 degrees
  2. My thoughts for us western folks has not changed for 4 days. The overall setup has not changed on the models. The look is a classic for a west of the fall line foot+ snow. The only questions for me were would the qpf be there for it and would the track support it. The answer to both is yes. Someone is getting 2 feet from this. Both the Euro and GFS have been incredibly consistent that all of the 81 corridor north of Harrisonburg is going to get hit hard. We will see where the banding sets up. But most of us know how that usually goes. Regardless, this is going to be a historic December storm for the western tier of this forum. Early guess for me is 8-12 from Harrisonburg to Front Royal. 12+ from Front Royal to Harrisburg, PA. With 2 foot totals for some in that area. Know your climo and adjust accordingly.
  3. I am 33 with a forecast low of 36. This may very well surprise us.
  4. Imagine being in the NY board right now. The RGEM gave them 32 and the GFS gave them 7.
  5. I am just stating what the model says. And even if DCA got 10 inches they would report 3
  6. DCA almost 10 inches. GFS is good for all.
  7. Yeah. This run is ridiculous. If there wasnt a pandemic I would have you DC guys out to enjoy it.
  8. 69 heavy snow for all. 850 around Fredericksburg. 72. Getting pummeled. 850 just south of DC
  9. GFS 66 snow starts for everyone. 850 down just north of RIC
  10. GFS looks a lot like the Euro for tomorrow. An inch or 2.
  11. RGEM has the low crossing over eastern NC to right over OC. Icy for the cities. It then dumps 30+ inches on NYC.
  12. Weaker HP on the NAM. Struggled with the CAD. But the NAM struggles with everything.
  13. NAM looks good for an inch or two tomorrow.
  14. Thanks for this,. That site is awesome.
  15. agree. I want the cloud cover to come in while we are close to freezing.
  16. 36/32 The earlier we can get the precip in the better. NWS going with a high of 40 tomorrow.
  17. https://nyskiblog.com/directory/weather-data/northeast-us/40-70-benchmark-map/
  18. @WinterWxLuvr Here is the link to that thread in the NYC forum. The 3 hour pressure change map is in there I think. Also for everyone else this is a good thread to bookmark for storms: Actually. Disregard this. It appears most of the maps are no longer active in this thread.
  19. I dont want to hijack your thread but do one of you have a bookmark saved for the storm map thread you used to have here? I want to bookmark it to my new computer. Thanks! NVM all. I found it. I hope you all get crushed up here!
