  1. I have not had my normal nickel and dime events this year. So I am still 8 inches under climo. Even with the December and last weeks storms. Was really dead between those 2 events though. One more event should do it for me. And I am pretty confident that will happen in the next month.
  2. It appears the GFS will end up schooling the Euro for the Sunday event. But it you like tracking snow chances the 6Z run of the GFS is about as weenie as it gets.
  3. GFS is as stubborn as ever. Stronger southern vort this run at least.
  4. I would be fine with that as long as we get blasted in the first half.
  5. Ninja'd. But yeah. It would be some light snow through the area verbatim. Pretty wild progression with 2 lows sliding east that close together.
  6. The NAM still has snow showers out here through tomorrow morning. Crazy storm man.
  7. Getting some blowing and drifting out here. It is simply gorgeous out right now. Feels like a brutal winter day.
  8. Anyone else see the pics of that crazy building Amazon is planning for Crystal City? Nuts.
  9. Best Miller B ever for the majority of this subforum. What a fun 3 days.
  10. I have been there with the 40 inches in 2016. It was a major pain in the ass in all honesty. Incredible experience. But I am fine with 10-20 inches
  11. Yes. The GFS was showing that for 3 days. It busted low with totals although it did a pretty damn good job.
  12. We had some serious compaction today. I am still under 10 inches with my obs. But I probably broke it in all honesty. Got lazy with measuring during most of the day. Awesome two days though.
  13. Yeah. My folks are a little NW of Philly and they got destroyed today. No doubt.
  14. Picked up .7 over the past 2 hours. 9.8 total for the event. Have a little over 8 on the ground. And it is still snowing. Some great snow piles at the end of driveway. This stuff is going to be around for a while. Should pass 10 inches overnight hopefully. This is the best Miller B I can ever remember for our area. We usually get completely shafted in Miller B's. Not this time.
  15. You just got a little unlucky with the banding. No one can know who is gonna get lucky with that. It worked out for us this time. Probably you next time. This band isnt as heavy as I was expecting. I will measure later tonight. Now that the suns down compaction should be less anyways.
  16. Band looks like it held together for Winchester. I am gonna break 10. sweet.
  17. Time sensitive. Watch that DC/NOVA band fire up: https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/?parms=regional-eastcoast-14-48-1-100-1&checked=map&colorbar=undefined
  18. You are about to get some nice snow man. Radar looks good.
  19. Nice band firing up across the river from Eastern Loudoun/Western Fairfax. Incoming!
