    That WRF run is straight up weenie for the Northern 81 crew. Would be a legit 6-10 on top of what we already have. Really heavy bands later this evening if true.

    Rates picking up nicely out here. Well under 1/2 mile visibility. 8.4 total for the event. Snow 27 degrees.

    Like I said earlier. Winchester just lucked out with this one. If you look at 24 hour radar loops we had bands set up over us and pivot for hours. Very lucky. And this will probably end up being the best Miller B ever here.

    Next band of snow incoming to the Winchester area now. You can really see the sleet line on this radar as well. It is east of the Blue ridge.

    First shovel of today done. 8.1 total for the event. A little over 7 on the ground after compaction. Some respectable 2 foot driveway walls. That is always my bar. Give me 2 foot walls on the driveway and 4 foot mounds at the bottom so they can stick around for a few weeks. Light snow 26 degrees.

    My area really just lucked out so far with this one. We have had these little 5 mile wide snow bands of moderate snow hit us. Pure luck. But I will take it.

    It is awesome out here right now. Best rates of the entire event. It must have snowed all night because I had another 1.2 on my board when I just swept it. 7.6 total for the event so far and coming down nicely.

    What do ya'll think of the new radar on the weather.gov site? I just cant seem to make myself like it. I know they had to get rid of the flash maps. But the new one frustrates me.

    I posted over the past 2 days that it was all about the waa. We all know what a Miller B means for our area. And normally my area is the worst for them. Climo is almost always king.

    3K is frikin sweet out here through Tuesday. Looks like I have one little burst of snow left with the front half of this storm. Cannot complain. Gonna end up around 6 and a half inches.

    Another .4 in the past hour. 6.1 for the event so far. Still snowing but that back edge is coming in quick. Looks like a pretty lengthy lull is coming overnight. Would love 6 more tomorrow for a foot plus.

    Hmmm. That is interesting. I am wondering what model they are leaning towards that they would downgrade me and Martinsburg? All of them give us at least 5 more inches.

    Just did my last shovel of the day. Picked up .7 of fluff in the past hour with this outer band. Radar blossoming well to my SW. 5.7 inches so far. Snow and 27 degrees.
