  1. The days are getting longer and the sun is getting stronger, but the H5 anomalies say hold on a little longer; will it snow before the daffodils grow, only God really knows.... no snow maps today:)
  2. I will go away after this post: there were several experts that predicted a lull. Lull was expected to end as early as the 10th. 13-15 seems to be locking in; great forecasting. Gives us a few weeks to score before the calendar catches up with us. Hopefully it works out.
  3. The snow means are horrible the next 15 days on all the ensembles. I guess we need "wave breaks" and cooling for our last gasp of winter. Hope to see an uptick by next weekend. WB 12Z EPS.
  4. I think in two weeks we would take a Miller Z if it means a snow storm. I am not panicked but cautiously optimistic that the last 4-5 weeks (mid February to mid March) of the winter season will deliver. The 3rd week of January's well forecasted H5 pattern gave me 10 inches; if I get another 10 plus inches it will be a "B" winter for me. If we get a wind whipped foot or more storm out of the upcoming pattern, winter 23-24 will get an "A" from me.
  5. Light snow flurry activity on way to train this am. Perfect way to start hump day...
  6. WB 12Z EPS for the 13th. I am not counting them, but will be watching the number of blue members as we get toward mid February.
  7. I hope the 14th holds, about the time MJO should be heading into 8....
  8. February 14, what year???? A little levity is needed in this forum.
  9. JB is now talking about a delay while the MJO goes through 7. Still thinks we get there but after the 10th now.
  10. Pretty disastrous, no snow in the next two weeks, and the east coast is a torch on the 13th. Looks like we punt the first half of February.
  11. Trend over last day is definitely north. Not enough yet...and temperature issues as well. Let's see if GEFS improves this run. WB 6Z GFS yesterday compared to today.
