Yeah.... 14" here now. Although we expected this 36 hours ago, wasn't expecting this at all as of yesterday afternoon.
It does suck for you guys up in Massachusetts, but you did get that storm back in January where you guys saw 14 to 16 inches up there and We got about half that down here.
Maybe we can still pull off region wide snow storm for everyone from Washington DC up to Maine before the season's over.

The wind is starting to crank up outside. Looks blizzard like with the snow coming off the trees

Heading out now..gonna measure. Beautiful puffy dendrites still coming. Heavy snow. Gotta be between 8 and 10” by th looks of it. I’ll see soon.
Man you got to be over 10 inches. I'm probably just about a foot at this point

I'm officially at 10.5" here in Plainville. I think we will hit 12" for sure ( I have pictures but for some reason I can never download them here, it always says two big of a file )

Snow is coming down heavier again. Almost like a darkened up the sky now. If this band should give us another 2"-4" I think.

You have the mental capacity of a squirrel.
Emotions change like the wind and perceptions of forecasts that were never made.
No one can fix that but you.
And being that you’re a man child like @WinterWolfand @Damage In Tollandit’s too late.
I can't even respond to that.
But I will let you know when I pull myself off the ground once I stop laughing so hard.

I'm up to 7.75" now. I cleared everything out and I was at 7 around 40 minutes ago

Rain.
There you are. You are like that rat. Looking for that one crumb.
And to think that I was going to give you credit for being right, I realized I had fallen and hit my head last night. Please just stop posting lol

What's bugging me at the moment is I'm watching the news on NBC for Connecticut. I know they're doing the best they can, but the ladies keep saying that the southern half of state is getting the most snow right now. That's not the truth at all. We already picked up over 7 in now for this area. Plainville, Southington, West Hartford, and they've got about three or four inches down near the shore. So they're not getting more than we are at this point? But hopefully they'll catch up

Actually, when you look at the radar, although the northern area is sliding east southeast, they're still precipitation pushing up from the south into this. So I don't think that the snow is going to shut off as quickly as you think in Sharon. Whatever happens, it's still better than we had thought when we went to bed last night

I just measured two spots. Very flat areas. I'm at 6.5". Wow!!

Even if he ever was to be right which to date he hasn’t.. you still never give someone like that credit
Yeah... Trying to be the bigger person. But, was a mistake. We all make em.
Anyway, happy about the outcome.

Well.. I already topped what our " Downgraded Winter Weather Advisory " called for... 3"-5". Hmmm.

Well... So much for my message to Pope last night. I kind of gave him credit for being somewhat right. I RETRACT MY ENTIRE STATEMENT!!!! LOL

Just measured and I am just shy of 5"!!!! I truly gave up last night, made peace with it. Woke up to a radar that looks beautiful. Even if the Snow shuts off at noon... With the way the Snowfall rates are going... We could easily pick up 8" or 9".

The pope predicted this to be a rainstorm.
Didn't he think this was going to go south? That's what I took from some of his posts. But whatever. The storms over for most I thought this was going to be something big. For those down in New York Long Island, New Jersey area, maybe they'll get something out of us that they never expected.

It's like they're run out of the Pope's church basement
Pope is going to take this and run with it. And he got this one right, but the problem with him is he doesn't know how to communicate and look at all sides of the spectrum. I think that's what gets him in trouble... But he got this one. So kudos to him

Would actually be funny to go from 8-12" to 0" within 36 hours of an event
It truly sucks.

I’d rather get my balls stepped on than stare at a SE ohio radar to see if it translates to 3” later here.
Well then..... Tough crowd! Joking of course.
Just let it go. It hurts but it is what it is. Sucks balls rather than getting ball stepped on to be honest

Well, they just canceled schools here in Plainville for tomorrow. They must be confident enough that there will be enough snow to warrant a cancellation

Nice clip still on the GFS for Saturday
Funny, it's not even mentioned on our new station. NBC in Connecticut. They just mentioned the possibility of a little something overnight Thursday into Friday but no mention at all about Saturday and hasn't been. However, wtnh mentioned Saturday earlier today and yesterday that there might be some snow. I can't keep up with who says we're getting something and who says we're not.

One set of guidance away from a total SNE whiff
I don't think anybody would have expected this but this juncture. But I would just prepare yourself that it's not happening for us. Par for course for another winter like last.
Following a Miller A/B hybrid type coastal potential, Feb 13th ... As yet untapped potential and a higher ceiling with this one

It's kind of hard at this point as far as the final total as the Snow has compacted, but I'm definitely between 13 and 14 in.
Looks amazing!
