    They do this flip-flopping it seems like for every model run. It's incredibly tedious. I have yet to see them get something right. Modelology is not meteorology.

    The GFS has been showing wave after wave of vodka cold air coming out of Canada for about a week now. Now instead of it being 14 days out it's only 7 days out and its still showing up.

    The December 25th 2025 BECS is going to be our biggest snowfall since 1922

    It's possible i might go the entire month without snow, but threats around the 22nd and the 26th might put that in jeopardy. NAM state looks like it'll go positive at the beginning of February, so I might end up not getting anything this entire winter. Even less than last winter. I got an inch that winter. I highly doubt it'll end up that way but man things are looking kinda bleak

    I will go out on a limb and say that this is our first real snow threat, for SE of I-95. I will probably get burned

    It's like a summer cold front, where the temperatures drop from 90 to 89 in just a 24 hour period but it's in winter and its 50 to 49

    The big ones are sniffed out early but damn not this early. We must be getting 4 feet of snow on the 25th.

    I have a feeling that this is going to be those rarer times the models come back in a big way in the medium range. My weenie in me says the models will show a foot over my yard by the 00z Thursday suite

    TWC had me getting about a half foot of snow but I ended up getting a dusting. That was a disaster

    The blue means negative anomalies, which correlate to high latitude blocking and a weakened vortex. What you are seeing is the blue anomalies extend all the way down to the lower troposphere. So basically there's blue over us @Ji
