    My earlier comment in the other thread was very pessimistic but not gonna lie, from a gut-feeling standpoint, this one feels good to me. It popped up late and there's plenty of spread still, with good hits on either end of the envelope.

    It seems there might be some little shitter system desperately trying to happen around the 135 hour mark. It's really hard to care about anything after the last system but it beats having absolutely nothing.

    ^ it's snowing here, but not a whole lot. Not that my hopes were all that high given the depression fest this thread has been anyway but it kind of sucks to watch my chance of maybe, possibly, getting to warning criteria go to either side

    Flake size is garbunkle now but the roads are turning entirely white slowly, I guess temps are finally low enough now. Should rip nicely when better synoptic snows move into the vicinity. Love the wind. Got a nice four or five inch drift on a little roof alcove on the ol humble abode

    I don't get why everyone's tweaking right now. Even the strung out runs were good by this year's standards and we're backing away from that. Look at the CMC and tell me you wouldn't be satisfied with something like that. There's still time to work our way back a little too.

    Fwiw 06z GFS looks a lot better again than 00z. Maybe at some point things can start trending up again in a GHD II fashion; not to compare this event to that one by any means
