I was just talking about him. If he wants to stay on the conservative side he needs to be that way from the get go. I just talked to family that watched him and said snow was a miss it’s gonna be mostly rain now. Which is far from the truth we’ve all seen it today on models totals have not went down! He could be putting some people in danger if he doesn’t jump on board by tomorrow evening!

That’s got to be one of the craziest runs I’ve ever seen 3-4 ft for a lot of the mountains. 

We’re still sitting good fellas, I think will wobble back and forth over the next few days, but we’re in for a solid snow.

And follows that with another snow 2 days later. Should be some fun tracking ahead.

Lots of moving parts in the upcoming pattern. 12z Euro shows a winter storm for the mountains next Saturday/Sunday.

I have 39 and a rain/sleet mix at the moment.

Congrats to y’all that cashed in on the heavy snow. Was only able to get a light skiff on vehicles and trees north of Franklin. But it was still nice to see if fall after the torch of a December we had.

Just now starting to mix in a few flakes in north of franklin. Just heard a rumble of thunder too.

There’s some serious cloud to ground lightning going on in the line passing through Macon county.

It’s holding together so far. Definitely gonna be some strong straight line winds at the least.

GSP just issued a tornado watch for most of WNC.

Have some light snow/sleet falling now in Northern Macon county.

Had 19 north of Franklin this morning.

Wow absolutely insane pics! Just a little flooding in northern Macon county. Little Tennessee river is still rising though and beginning to flood fields.

NWS finally pulled the trigger on flash flood watch. Possibly 8-10” in favored upslope areas.

Just come thru my neck of the woods. There was tons of wind to start with now mod to heavy rain.

Picked up 3” of rain at the house the last 2 days. Meanwhile Ive been in franklin working and I would say 1/2” at most in town. Summertime storms have commenced.

While y’all have been sweating it out back home this is what my week has been like.

We had a little frost this morning got down to 35*

It has poured the rain all morning surprised I’m not under a flash flood warning.

Clouds rolled in and keep it from dropping to low here this morning. Was 29 at 5:30 up to 35 now.

Dropped to 25 this morning. Looks like we’re headed for another freeze tomorrow morning.

33.7 here this morning.

Starting out the morning with a nice crisp 21*. Thank God there’s no wind though, it was brutal yesterday.
