  1. 14.1 was the coldest thus far. Coldest wind chill was negative 6. Bumped up to 15 again. So cold
  2. My mega tree is not doing so great. LOL. 19/3. Wind chill Down to 5 degrees.
  3. Had a few flurries. Was outside in a futile attempt to reattach a strand of lights that decided to break free. Winds were howling. Currently 26. Winds gusting well into the 40s I am certain
  4. My stupid weather station decided it was done transmitting - when I most want it to work! Man - do not ever get Acurite stuff! I mean, it works alright for a bit and then just decides to quit broadcasting or something! So frustrating! Davis will be in my future! Just windy cold here.
  5. I got a rock! Honestly, nothing frozen! Models showed this well, but I thought they may be wrong!
  6. That little line solidified just east of me! Like a few miles east! I did not get that in my backyard. I think that may have been why did not get the mix.
  7. I am now up to 42 degrees! Winds are still West South West. Front has not made it through really.
  8. Just rain. It was kind of heavy but I did not see any sleet or anything. The temp. Did fall 3 degrees to 37 but went right back up to 41 after the precip stopped. Winds gusted 20 to 30 mph.
  9. When the heaviest of rain came through I did gust in the upper 20s to lower 30s. The wind is not too far above us.
  10. Me too. Had a windy mix as well for a moment of rain and rain slant. Temps went from a balmy 37 to a shivering 40.8 Guessing that the the cold lags a wee bit. The ground is soaking wet though. When the drop occurs it may have some water to freeze
  11. NAMs say maybe some. GFS wants to share a Christmas present. @Jiand I look are two far east and then west.
  12. Oooo. The downsloping snow hole in my back yard! West to east thunderstorms do this to. I am not sure if this is just a resolution gap, typical f such a scenario, but I swear this happens out my way in summer storms too!
  13. I am interested in a Thursday/Friday thread for the Polar Plunge of disappointments. We have wind, severe, squalls, and quick drop temp discussions around it. Not as fun as a snowstorm but significant! Is that a good idea?
  14. The storm after the storm (and after that storm... and after that storm.. and then winter 2023 - 2024 on December 5.. and )
  15. Bumping! What do you think about Tuesday Evening 0z run make sense? If trends continue? @psuhoffman
  16. Man! That GEFS is like a picture frame of what we need for snow! Let's see continued improvement and one of the OPS runs is gonna spit out a big dog! Just hope we get the full benefits!
