  1. Not to mention it’s purely for transient nomads who live there temporarily, rendering it a soulless hellscape. But I digress.
  2. Proximity to ocean and coastal storms + being further north + Charlotte has elements of downsloping
  3. Raleigh also averages twice as much snow as Charlotte — albeit nominal amounts, and have had bigger snowstorms in history. So I suppose weird junkies in a way because we know what is possible.
  4. My favorite storm in at least 10 years. Might not be the biggest but it was just perfect.
  5. Got mine to bed, made a bourbon and did a jeb walk
  6. The average high on March 5th in Raleigh is 63 degrees
  7. Am I losing it or is it back building from the coastal
  8. Someone must’ve sacrificed a goat in northern Wake. We’ve been ripping for 3 straight hours. I’d guesstimate 3 inches.
  9. Just north of the sleet line and rates and flake sizes are preposterous
  10. Are we anticipating the sleet line retreats back south later this pm?
  11. Keep in mind that is incremental to what has already fallen. I think we’re locked up for 5+
  12. These are laugh out loud rates. Approaching inch an hour stuff
  13. Streets have caved. It’s full on white out
  14. How did we will this to fruition?! Feel like I’m in Vail
  15. Yeah it’s seeing that I already have almost an inch at 1pm
  16. Yep. This is big time. I even made a snow cocktail
  17. This is the type of snow you dream about. Calm. Daytime. Heavy fatties.
  18. Hopefully a half mile from my house… right at the line is where families are fed
  19. Just flipped to rather large quarter sized flakes in north Raleigh
  20. A little surprised my driveway hasn’t caved yet, but again, sun angle
  21. Safe to say the NAM was off its rocker with the sleet line
