  1. This is a much simpler set up than last time and is purely timing
  2. I'd like to see some more precip blossom back into GA/SC, rather than depending on the ULL / late phase / negative tilt to do all the work here. I suppose I should just be happy it's still showing up for right now, but I'm greedy.
  3. Technically, Currituck, NC is the mid-point along the eastern seaboard, but we're still here, so you can be too
  4. I'm having a hard time seeing this being able to be a storm for more than Asheboro north and east through the coastal plain
  5. Water running off everything like crazy. If the sun comes out it’s going to be like the inside of a sprinkler head. .
  6. A little too amped to early. Need this to be suppressed until Thursday. .
  7. Is this from a late bloomer (ie. late phase/capture)? Odd snowfall signature. .
  8. Will be interesting to see the late January sun angle work on the trees tomorrow .
  9. Back edge approaching Mebane. Turning off the porch light. .
  10. Mind you, the Euro took us from Tallahassee snow to Toronto over the course of this past week .
  11. I actually don’t like that the AI favors an SECS. We don’t usually do well when north of DC does well. .
  12. It’s 22 degrees. Wasn’t it supposed to be 32 by now? .
  13. I had not had a drink thinking we would need to stay alert for power outage / fallen trees. Things have subsequently changed materially in this regard. .
  14. I think it’s safe to say we made it Wake County. .
  15. Yeah the line is way more narrow now than when it was across TN/GA .
  16. Would probably be inch-an-hour sleet rates which would be preposterous .
  17. Hmm… I am thinking this is a sleet squall line for NC folks .
  18. Guidance implies that line really skinnies up by the time it reaches Central NC regardless of precip type .
