  1. My neighbor just tried to snow blow 2” of sleet, got 5 feet and quit [emoji23]. .
  2. 17.6F here in Slingerlands.m (Albany) Just measured 1.9” of sleet!!! How the heck do I shovel that? .
  3. Down to 28.7F here with more sleet than I've seen in a while. Just took the dog out and it is crunchy, crispy out there. Glad the zr stopped. My fence gate was frozen shut and had to whack it good to open it. Killington webcams confirm the dual pole cc evidence of the mix line making it to Rutland area. Doh!!!!

  8. Models underestimate cold press + NAM often sees the mid level warmth = more sleet and zr? I just can’t picture a ton of snow for this one near the front. Gonna be a fun on to nowcast! Probs lots of surprises. .
  9. Albany County is a Gradient forecast clusterfudge. As are many places. I say we burn the models. They’re witches. .
  10. Weird and inconsistent snow season out west. Alta is at 262” and Park City only 119”. I know they get less, but not that much less. .

  12. Albany at 13.8". 18" below average. We have had snow cover since MLK though. XC skiing was great today with a solid 4.5" of tough stuff underneath 1.5" of powda!

  15. My son just skied ABasin and said it was great although they still need more snow to cover some of the rocks but he said the mountain was skiing great! I’m heading out there in Feb. I’ll probs hit Stratton or Windham Sunday. Hope they get some snow. Need a mountain dumper!!!
  16. Lol, that would be fun for us western folk. Never spike the ball until the snow gets measured lol. Banding can be a tricky hehe in these big ones. .

  18. Would be a weaker system with less moisture that starts further north and is more Miller B’ish I would think? And then blows up and pounds NS. .
