    Grew up slightly silver spoon-fed in Bannockburn. Moms got Dementia so they snowbird at a gated community in the Coachella Valley and summers in HP. Back on topic, getting some light snow on the west side of town.

    Getting some snow across the far southern suburbs in Prior Lake Minnesota. Looks like a general 1-2” for the twin cities.

    We got our 2 year old on skis this year. He loves sledding, and seems to really enjoy skiing too.

    I’m in some skiing groups on FB and there is already talk of a big dog around 1/9 like it’s set in stone. The average person doesn’t know not to take the GFS verbatim a week out.

    The first day of 2024 in Minneapolis featured a high of 25 with 1” snow depth. Xmas weather feels like a distant memory.

    Got my final ski day of 2023 in today and conditions were better then expected. Shoutout to Welch Village for still having a dozen runs worth skiing open, even after the deluge. It’s been a rough start to the season but they have invested heavily in snowmaking and it’s the best skiing south of Duluth.

    Minneapolis set a record high again today reaching 54, breaking the old record of 52. I actually did some yard work in a t-shirt today. Steady light rain will be ongoing all night. This was a fun one to track even though it was wet instead of white.
