  1. Yeah and the Erie band northern edge flirts with my area...hopefully 5 miles
  2. Measured 6.1”. Nice event. Went to bed around 11 last night to about an 1” and woke up 5 hours later to 6. Like BW stated rates really picked up overnight
  3. Yeah this has me concerned a bit. Now I’m hoping the proverbial 5 mile shift takes place and it gets into the north towns for a bit, but we’ll have to wait and see
  4. Up early this year (dogs not kids for once) eyeballing 5 to 6 and still snowing. A little pessimistic about the lake effect later tonight and tomorrow as the NWS says it’s not sure how far north the band will make it but looking at 6 to 12 if it does late tomorrow morning into the afternoon...wait and see I suppose
  5. I think we bust high tonight. Almost an inch here and there is a lot of snow to come. It goes back to Ohio and south to Tennessee with very heavy returns west over Ohio and lower Michigan which will have to come this way eventually.
  6. Same sticking to everything coming down rather heavy
  7. Well if the storm shifted west it can only help the lake band come further north.
  8. Nope but most models said after 11pm so I’m not concerned...yet
  9. Moderate snow at Niagara Falls and NWS just issued a special weather statement for a quick change to snow and for an inch by 9pm...sleet now
  10. Already getting “thicker” raindrops in Williamsville...not concerned...all models hold and it wasn’t really scheduled to change until 11pm or so anyway
  11. Temps down to 35 at Williamsville and snow already mixing in near Niagara Falls.
  12. I’ll still take 12-18 and still bump this 5 miles north.
  13. My god the “d” team is on the local channels today....both show their in-house models with the band well south of Buffalo Friday night and when it comes north it hugs the shoreline...they need to get rid of these models...
  14. Just so we’re clear the rain snow line is not even 30 miles already to the west...and advancing east steadily with copious amounts of moisture to go...we’re down to 36 already. And if I’m not mistaken a more westward track of the low would further back the winds to SW...what we don’t want to see is an easterly track
  15. What are you talking about? Green grass? D step back from the ledge man...
  16. NWS Cleveland upgraded their advisory over Akron, Youngstown and east to a winter storm warning, I will not be shocked to see northern Erie and Niagara county upgraded as well
  17. Here’s to hoping the next one crushes you guys!
