    Agreed! And sadly with the weather pattern ahead ours will also vanish by Friday except for snow piles... next 10 days look mild mist days which I can’t understand looking at the indicies

    It’s funny because you can almost see the band progression, you’re about 3” less than here and My location is about 3” less than KBUF

    Up to 14.5” and still ripping I’m guessing the airport has to be over 17” if I’m that high, their update was 2 hours ago.., over 20” since Christmas Eve.

    Beginning to shift south but I think it may hold tough around the airport for about an hour

    Band not moving snowing all the way to NT right now drive through 3” hour rates and it’s picking up here...I’m confident we hit 15” or so in Williamsville

    Is that still to come? Watching TWC right now and they have a wind field map right now and it shows SW winds all the way up to Lake Huron almost, and it doesn’t move to WSW until 6pm on their model? If that is correct it could be a second round once the moisture reignites the band...latest radar the band moved a bit further north...

    My guess is the band reignites over the north towns, southern Niagara and quickly drops south in an hours time, didn’t really see this coming would’ve thought it would be strong when it went south

    Yeah you were close. I do think we have about another 3” or 4” to go so I’m happy at this point. Southtowns still the king though...

    Yep BW is spot on...the snow rates are about 1 to 2 inches an hour now and not as consistently heavy, in fact about 30 minutes ago I saw a peek of the sun where the clouds thinned a bit. I’m still in line for about 10 to 12 so I’m not at all complaining...but it also shows that extra 5 miles the models never show as thus is in southern Niagara as well as I don’t believe any models had that.

    I’ve picked up 5” since I came back from tops and it didn’t start ripping until about 9:15am rates are insane can’t see 30 feet in front of you. Winds are almost SSW with the trajectory of the snow falling.

    It’s moving north still radar shows another 2 to 3 mile swing in it still...I’m ripping at about 2” an hour right now and maybe 3” coming up with what’s over the lake

    This band will not make it into my area...I’m having 2014 flashbacks all over again...

    For perspective on exactly how fine a line I’m living right now? I just left my neighborhood to go get coffee at tops on maple and transit. It is not snowing by the maple end of my neighborhood, it is snowing at the south end...I’m right in the middle...just one damn mile swill get me into that convergence zone...
