    Snowing moderately all morning in Williamsville big flakes about 2 inches of just fluff, not accumulating on mains or busy secondary routes but is on all other snowy surfaces

    I agree about downstate. I think the tucked in areas just off the coast score this one...on to the rain storm next week!

    Yup in fact the Niagara Frontier is getting some light to at times moderate returns here in Williamsville but the flakes are grainy, almost graupel like but not as soft.

    You know I feel like a lot of storms in the middle of these forecasts lose their way and then find their way back to the original idea. Time will tell if this is correct

    I think, dangerous I know, that the idea is going to be what it is as we’re only 72 hours from the system making its way into the Midwest. It, as always, will be all about the placement of the players. Most trends have been north and west and I don’t see that changing here.

    That band you showed on radar BW about 40 minutes ago is finally here in eastern Williamsville, big fluffy cotton balls floating down.

    That’s a great safety maneuver especially when not wanting to incur all the risk. Profits aren’t as great but neither are the losses.

    As a WNYer I want that secondary LP (looks like it’s over middle Lake Erie) to be about 100 miles east so the best lift is right over the whole state.
