You know, I have a relatively high-functioning nephew on the spectrum and I believe that the in-depth forecasts and breakdowns that I read here are better done by someone on the spectrum, from what I can see in him. Not being on it, I don’t find the joy in diving into the forecasts and creating it, but I do like reading the finished results! That’s my long-winded way of saying keep up the good work! You have supporters here. .

You guys are a lot smarter than me in regards to weather and climate, but the desire to control people never works out. Imagine yourself in a personal or professional relationship and your partner or manager lets you know how stupid you are and that you need to be controlled because you’re just too inept and incompetent for your own good. Do you think, “Thank goodness a luminary light has allowed me to see my sheer, unending stupidity!” I doubt it. This never ends well whether personally or professionally or politically. .

Agreed. I feel like people go full medieval on you in a religious sense when you question reactive policy - not the numbers - and accuse you of heresy, or our current heathen term, denier. Some media types are seemingly carrying the water for their donors, which I’m not against - we all do that for our employers - but I don’t like when it’s not disclosed. We are changing the planet every day - in some ways better and others worse - as we advance as a civilization. There are costs and benefits in everything we do. Cobalt and lithium mining and energy infrastructure creation and production and international shipping allows us to communicate in this very group, all of which have negative ecological impacts. .

I love your enthusiasm and positivity, but enjoy the summer and fall and let’s make a time to meet up again here after the World Series. .

I often find the greatest discrepancies in low temperatures are in the autumn and spring… usually 12° to 15°, sometimes 20° between CPK and my home (MMU), all likely due to the insane UHI. .
