    I truly hope all the limb trimming the power companies have been doing the last 18 months or so minimizes the chance for widespread outages. Scattered are inevitable.

    Going back to the topic of NWS cutbacks, is that the reason NWS Taunton doesn't have the links to Climate/Hurricanes/River etc anymore at the bottom of the forecast pages? Ridiculous.

    Moderate snow in Westerly. Went from 39-33 in 15 minutes. Radar shows snow lightening up shortly here.

    2.2" so far in Westerly. So much for my 9:40 tee time at Weekapaug. Greens are puddles.

    Deluge here in Westerly between 9-10 am. 1.73 inches reported at the airport. 2.4 overall today.

    The picturesque 11th at Misquamicut. If you have a connection, drop everything and go play there! Par 69, and always immaculate conditions. Favorite course in RI.

    Hey Ginx... with the trajectory Henri is forecast to take towards the SNE coast and the astronomical high tides, do you think Misquamicut could see structural damage from surge similar to Sandy?
