  1. Yeah that's quite a snow if verified. And still snowing...
  2. For those interested. Looks like most of us had our coldest December morning on Christmas. Aside from snow, can't ask for much more than that!
  3. Can someone explain the GFS-PARA. Is it just an alteration to the GFS in an early phase? An Upgraded version that needs tweaking?
  4. I've got my eyes fixated on the 9th/10th. Euro and Canadian take it into Central/South Texas. GFS runs it through Oklahoma and Arkansas. Odds favor the former given the Euro's consistency, and how well the Canadian did on this last storm. But it's still 5 days out with alot of things going on right now; so plenty of room for error atm.
  5. Looking like I won't have a horse in this race unless things change 170 miles, lol. But there's definitely potential for you Arkansas and SOMO folks! 6Z GFS 6ZEuro Paints it more North.
  6. Yeah, I like being able to arrow up and down for the different runs so I can compare and contrast really easily on tropical tidbits.
  7. Yay!! Looks like we are about to get a good little drop here in Collinsville.
  8. Yeah, will be curious here in about 30 min if a lot of this is evaporating before it reaches the ground or if it’ll drop a dusting to 1 inch.
  9. THIS! This winter has already been more memorable than the previous 4 or 5 combined, and we still have 2 and a half to 3 months to go. I’ll take it with zero complaints!
  10. Yeah! Winding down here now, but we got it good! You’ll probably end up with 2-3 inches I think.
  11. Yeah, I'd say the Canadian for sure. It had the most consistent performance, and although it did include Tulsa in the Frz Rain, it did start to back off with time. And no model can get that down to the exact mile.
  12. Socked in this band pretty good, already picked up about an inch and a half, maybe 2. Roads completely covered.
  13. I love that place! Wife and I will take an occasional weekend away out there. That’s a lot!
  14. Drove to Skiatook, couldn't spot any ice. Might be treetops though.
  15. Talala and Skiatook aren't reporting winds anymore on mesonet. That means the equipment has ice build up on it.
  16. Thanks for the scouting! I may hop on the car and drive over to Skiatook to see what it's like there, no ice yet in Collinsville, must be just a few decimal points above freezing here. 31.6 in Skiatook 32.7 in Tulsa.
  17. Hahaha, I thought about how it sounded after the fact lol.
  18. Wow, no kidding! Drops 3 inches of sleet in North Tulsa as well as a couple inches of snow. Which I'd be more than happy with. But man...10+ inches of snow? Whew!
  19. Stuck my fancy meat probe thermometer in my mailbox with the tip sticking out. 32 Degrees at my house.
