    Pretty amazing what a few miles can do. Only 0.15 at home in Belchertown, at UMass today I bet we got close to 1.5".

    83.4* but feeling the dew point a bit more than yesterday. However, still haven't put the A/C in the new house just a few fans and we stay around 74-76*. Love being out of "the valley" terrain wise.

    Some amazing edges to the storms and lots of cloud to ground strikes. Some trees in the back field are no longer with us. Amazing yellow backdrop with a black sky and lots of scud clouds.

    Here is round 2. Best thunderstorm I've seen in a few years....and another tornado warning.

    We have a tornado warning in Amherst. Looking wild!

    Hot and humid in the Valley but a nice 15-20mph breeze is making batting practice bearable. I don't remember such a breeze on days when we got into some good storms.

    Feeling a bit optimistic for our area today given by 8:30 the clouds were gone and there was a nice 10-15mph breeze at times. Other chances earlier in the year we had cloud cover until around noon-early afternoon and it never really go things going.

    I'm really tempted to head to the top of Mt. Tom right about now.

    Tornado warning issued for the cell around Saugerties, NY. Things will get wild in Great Barrington in a bit.

    Hard to believe today's forecast given its 60* with a very cool breeze coming through the windows.
