    I just don’t really see a lot to be optimistic about. The ensembles or the operational models look meh and we have been burned so many times. I just don’t see how anybody can be jacked up this far out

    I fully believe I will go winless in South central NC. I think the NW NC will eventually get a hit. Does that mean I get the first winter pick for 2021. 12z Euro no go.

    Agree about the midlands of SC. Rockingham NC where I live is the no snow capital or the world . Snows 20 miles north in southern pines nc while I get cold rain. I’ve given up .

    18z GFS lays down a nice storm for Northern NC and South Va.

    It’s sad that all we can chase is a few snow flakes on Christmas for some(if you are lucky). We need some of this potential to go our way. #Cliff driver lol

    Lots of wishcasting going on. This was never a storm for most of us in NC or SC East of the mountains. Of course I’m beginning to think no storms are for us.

    Yes I am afraid so. I think people could see a few flakes flying in Northwest NC but snow with a cold front rarely happens .

    Still learning but that low that forms at the base of the trough then seems to cut. Does that make sense with that huge front pushing down?

    Wishing you guys luck with the storm. I’m in southern NC so we will get our usual cold rain. GSO north and west. That’s how it always plays out here in North Carolina

    Saw 10 minutes of sleet 75 miles due East of Charlotte. 10 minutes more than last year
