  1. And thank God there aren't any weenies in this sub forum that would take this run as gospel. It's admittedly just fantasy but that's the BECS that we have all been waiting for.
  2. The temperature gradient would be other-worldly. Temps are below zero to the single digits with heavy heavy snow. The gradient would do that. I would expect that ice you see is either snow or rain. Even if 850s were trying to warm the rates would be absolutely insane. Inland you would expect ratios to be probably higher than 10:1 with those temps.
  3. Actually there's a 5 foot jackpot in northern PA.
  4. 4 freakin feet of snow on the FV3. Imagine. Just imagine.
  5. The Euro just spit out a 15-20" bomb overnight. The FV3 looks insane. The GFS is in the same boat. The 20th time frame is looking ripe for something special. And if it doesn't work out? Then the time period right behind looks even better.
  6. In a winter like this I look specifically for HECS and more importantly BECS. Some people just want light snows just to say they have seen snow, but I could care less for a 2-4" snowfall. Give me a 24"+ long duration storm or bust. On a side note, this winter has left me speechless with anger and rage lol. In many other winters we find ways to steal snow. This year we're getting caught red-handed by the weather police trying to steal a meager 2-4" event.
  7. The over running snows will be cold with high ratios probably around 15 to 1. Area wide 2-4" is possible with that. But I just don't see how this corrects north enough for our area to get into the real good stuff. DT and Virginia will likely win again. I hope I'm wrong. Plenty of time.
  8. FV3 GFS looks great!!! 6" light pink, 8" dark pink around Philly
  9. EPS improved rather dramatically, 18z NAM looks gorgeous, GEFS look amazing. Winning today with great trends.
  10. Sorry guys. No chance. The Korean is a Mid-Atlantic hit down south. When the Korean says no it's over.
  11. FV3 GFS is actually a classic KU look. The baroclinic leaf is classic with precip overspreading our area even with the low down in AL
  12. I see the normal GFS but not the Para-GFS.
  13. SW Virginia snows from Saturday morning to Monday afternoon lol
  14. Nice move by the GFS to go from Florida to the PA border (about 1000 miles) in 6 hours.
  15. HRDPS and RGEM are aggressive with monday night and tuesday morning snow/ice for the interior.
  16. Wow this sequence is amazing. A TPV vortex drops down from the arctic regions and filling the void is the formation of a -AO.
  17. Almost a perfect 500mb map. Perhaps the eastern troughing is a bit too deep aided by the -NAO a little south in its domain but wow anyway. This is what we've been waiting for, 1/20-3/1 should be rocking.
  18. Looks like every coastal storm since 09-10 where I get screwed right on the edge. Lock it in boys. Just kidding, its nice to see storm signals, even in the weenie range. We haven't had any fantasy storms to track yet this winter.
