  1. Pan-seared cicadas in a reduction of Miller Lite, with a hint of rosemary garnish?
  2. Yeah, we definitely need a vomit/barf emoji! But I'm shocked you brought back the Vienna sausage and Spaghetti-Ohs image earlier! All we need now is for @H2O to post something similar with cicadas, in honor of the upcoming Brood X! Wait, I really didn't mean to ask that, now I'm kinda worried!! ETA: Was also going to mention, happy anniversary to you!!!
  3. I think he's "reformed" now! Maybe...
  4. It's all in how much you twist the nut, see...
  5. Now THIS is some high-quality box wine right here!!... ETA: Goes great with BLT sandwiches, too, I might add!! But probably not with Sphaghetti-Ohs and Wieners.
  6. I'm tempted to say that Miller Lite isn't exactly "beer", but don't want to insult @H2O's drapery again!
  7. That's great!! Must be a great feeling to have that out of the way and a huge relief. I think MD is accelerating their "everyone eligible" date to April 12, if I heard correctly the other day (think it used to be end of this month?). It still may be a wait with tons of people setting appointments, but I look forward to getting that done as well.
  8. Another thing about the vaccine, besides what @WxUSAF mentions above about protecting others (as any vaccine does). I've heard that even those who have had COVID are being urged to still get the vaccine because it can greatly mitigate "after-effects" and improve recovery. I've heard of plenty of cases where people recovered, but are still dealing with post-COVID issues. Apparently, the vaccine can help that. Not sure of the details or how much that's been studied/validated, but makes sense.
  9. Hahaha!! Touche! And by the way, I have seen Lindeman's in a box. Nothing like a good Cardboardonnay to settle one's evening!
  10. A good, cheap white wine that's chilled is pretty refreshing! Lindeman's ftmfw!!
  11. So it's like Brigadoon. Comes along only once every 100 years but it feels just like the next day!!
  12. Hahaha! Well apparently I did too without even realizing I did so!!
  13. Well, damn! Beer snobbery gets one nowhere! Now, boxed wine on the other hand...!
  14. I'll just say that it should be illegal to drink Miller Lite anywhere...public or not!!
  15. A wonderful day for a bike ride and to get some photos...
  16. Thank you so much! I'll have to check that out...
  17. Both are definitely very cute (if I may say)!! And good beer is always a plus of course...
  18. Damn, those look really tasty!! I remember my step-mom used to make popovers, loved them!!
  19. A few April Fool flakes and sleet pellets here yesterday afternoon. My brother and sister-in-law up in the Cleveland area got a couple or so inches of snow!! Not all that unusual there at this time of year but still. Impressive sunset yesterday evening as the sky began to clear...
  20. For some reason that made me think of Steve Martin with the dueling banjoes...
  21. Happy March 32 to all the April Fools out there today!!
  22. Hahaha, true, I love that one as well! The way he says "Hot Pockets!" in that sing-song voice is hilarious.
  23. I hope your rescue is OK!! He looks so cute! Agree about Jim Gaffigan, too! I had a chance to see him early last March in Cleveland (just before all the COVID restrictions started), my sister-in-law got tickets and I went on up there for the weekend. Hilarious!! His routine on bacon is great, if you've ever seen it (one of the funniest lines from that is "the only problem with bacon is it makes you thirsty...for more bacon!").
  24. Interesting with the gusty winds and clear skies, one might offhand think it would be cold or chilly out because of that, especially this time of year. But it's nearly 80 degrees!
  25. I will share photos, indeed! I'm already on the hook for some tulips for @mappy, when they start blooming! That's cool about "The Queen's Gambit!" Haven't seen that. And glad to see another chess aficionado, though I'm probably not all that good (not as good as I was when I used to play more). I still enjoy reading about some of these historical players and their games/tournaments, especially the older ones from the early and mid 20th century. Capablanca, Lasker, Tarrasch, Bronstein, etc. I believe @yoda is a chess fan as well.
