If the MJO drags its feet in ph 5&6 for the next month then the fat lady has sung. It’s more than worrisome when we burn half of Met winter just looking for a pattern that could even produce a snowflake east of the mountains..but regardless of what happens, I’ll still be here

I hate analogs, but I would generally agree with the sentiment. -PNA is hard to shake during the heart of winter. I think the final hope is that our 500mb pattern looks nothing like these composites starting the last week in January. It gives me reason to hold on just a little while longer

I’m hoping we get blanked this year. That way momma nature owes us big time in 2021. I blame this winter on people who want it to be frigid in November. Thanks, guys.
