  1. On WU you can see from the 93/89 interchange a hair west of Concord following 89 NW to New London there is a pocket of 33-42 Degree temps 15-20 miles either side of that highway. Laconia and Jackson also holding on to mid 30's
  2. For eastern areas of SNE the big rains and front have been getting pushed back day after day. When kids wake up there should be snow as big rains are just moving in around 8am
  3. Enjoying the sounds of melting snow, How is the view as you look to whoville
  4. 12z nam very slow again with the front. All day rains into late evening in EMA
  5. Gyx had a graphic that showed Washington having 10” depth and Concord, Nh 17”. I imagine that is unusual thou I figure the Washington measurement is subject to the wind blowing the snow away? Between this cutter and models showing something similar Potential NYE it’s really a groin kick (I hope NYE can trend flat) 0z euro took a triple point under SNE
  6. Mt Washington reports 10” snow depth while Concord, NH has 17” Washington gonna melt out? NYE cutter should do it either way. Disastah
  7. I would say Patchy.. so spotty and then other areas 3" of taters. 3k Nam is slowest . It has 48-50 Temperatures now till 9pm on Xmas day From Franklin Nh to Nashua Nh. The 45 Degree DP line crosses you between 9 and 10pm ..that would be total wipe out. 0z hrrr has it near 50 till 5pm , about 12 hours of 45f plus dews and heavy rains...ditto gfs .
  8. If that event cuts west , things may get squirrelly in Randolph , w a NYE cutter in works
  9. Nice We got a screaming SE'r for Xmas day and New Years eve. NYE storm even cuts just west of Chicago. Wonderful news.
  10. SE ridge and high placement with these approaching short waves looks less than ideal for SNE
  11. What a disaster conditions will be on Saturday . Mountains will be reporting “frozen granular” and some folks won’t realize that means “don’t ski - icy AF” half the time . Mountains don’t seem to want to say “it’s Xmas weekend, don’t give us your money today , it’s dangerous” Folks who work in the medical center on the slopes must just be waiting for some narly accidents those mornings. I recall being at Stowe after a relatively rare freezing rain storm on the mountain a day and a half before ( about 2 Full years ago ) and I was checking into the lodge and I saw 3 people in basically body casts checking out And 2 talking about the conditions the afternoon before And now they were heading to Boston Hospitals .
  12. 96 years young and has not really had much cognitive decline at all. Just apparently she likes a good torch .
  13. My grandmother Keeps her house around 80F all year so on xmas when i've gone.. it's just Xmas tradition for me to wear sandles and shorts and a open shirt there (or you sweat bad) The xmas weather looks to cooperate this year , even thou i won't be visiting her.
  14. Best snow of afternoon right now. Big huge fatties currently.
  15. Around an inch here in Nashua. 29F . Nice winter afternoon. Just picked up again with some fatties.
  16. decent sized flakes falling in Nashua The intensity looks solid
  17. I did see that . 6z didn’t have much at all for late Monday nite but 12z had a 986 low a hundred miles east of ACK hitting down East Maine hard
  18. Xmas trees blown over into standing water Presents floating away what are odds of flooding ... NBD, Significant?
