When I lived and worked at a Boca Raton Country Club one of the generous members I trained offered to fly me to My friends in Orlando in his 2 seat Cessna (I believe) he mentioned /bragged that we would be safe because his plane had a large parachute that would deploy in a emergency . Was a very cool feeling flying at nite in that craft . Conditions were so dead calm that you wouldn’t even know the thing was moving (once it reached whatever altitude it did) just a calm dark flight w little in the way of lighting until we approached the airport where my friend worked . Was not a stressful or bumpy ride At one point ..I extended my legs and sort of stretched and the plane definitely moved/ operated differently for that moment as my feet reached some pedals (apparently they were on Both sides and “live” as I guess it made it easier for this guy to learn from a instructor ) , he half joked “don’t do that” and I was thinking “ok well may wanna mention that first”

Right now we see fewer and fewer willing to take 10-14$ / hour jobs as Pre pandemic ...the risk/reward of “having a job” and working 40 hours just to pay almost all your money to afford a 1 br rental with cheap food and gas money Sorta isn’t there . Much easier to try and move back in with XYZ , play the I’m “finding my self / career” card as long as one can , or maybe they just have very welcoming /lonely parent / Parents who encourage them to or have an open door . Either way many Millennials are voting to not slave away at a service sector dead end job ..just so they can put it all toward a 1500$ 1 BR and gas money and cable . Probably also realizing that if they took the bait and paid 150K for a liberal arts degree (since you need to have a degree / any degree ) the jokes on them

Cold front made it thru snowshoe wv 44f there I have watched the real estate rental market very closely for last 18 months and anything available on that plateau @ snowshoe has been gobbled up fast . Have been thinking of grabbing one ..for investment . Last year they were 60-70K for 1Br , and 90-105 K for 2 bedroom w approx 500$ month HOA fees. The 1 Br’s get 125-225 per nite (depending on season ) and the 2 Br’s get 175-375. And they fill up fast watching VRBO. That is an exceptional amount of rental income you can get for the price of those units . They also happen to be twice as high as any in Eastern USA as they are *at top of mountain (4800’). Several of the buildings spanning the mountain top plateau ..have nice amenities, pool, jacuzzi, Starbucks , restaurant etc (like a little village) Even if you used a third party rental management company you would make money and the 1 Br’s /2Br’s are up 20% YOY in price if you owned and decided to sell
