Ya I’m just not thrilled as I had some time to ski early December and I was hoping NNE Elevations could Maintain decent conditions , just don’t want to ski on a tarmac post flash freeze . Tying to see which days might be best at the Wildcat

This is not a SNE centric post but Several messy (poss mix) to rainers to Maine over next 10 days , not so great for early season ski conditions. Looks like there will some flash freezes after the rains w snow showers for favored upslope spots.

This is the best time of year , when the models start to show something promising during winter , but it’s far enough off in the distance that emotions start running wild for some , then others lose patience , thank goodness we have resident psychologist Tip. If he had a script pad I wonder what he would be dolling out .

If folks read the thread today , there is some good insight from the Mets , some is easy to follow , some a bit more challenging but the key take away is Will and Scott alluded they buying beers If there is not a a winter weather advisory in effect by the 12’th of December . Big cheers to them .

I’m looking forward to when PF decides it’s a good time to Tip toe out of NNE thread , post 2 feet of upslope and say it’s been currier and Ives for 2 weeks And then give the CP peeps a pep talk as Scott is dangling w leg over the Tobin after 2 interior warning events he was skunked on . That’s all I want for Xmas .

Thanks , i just think so many focus on when it will “begin” and they just want to assume it keeps going and going ..bc the duration is usually not mentioned , never mind in depth and that sets weenies up more more disappointments more often then the obsession with when “It flips” as get into the end of December we just need something serviceable and as long as we don’t have a pig or a cutter express lined up the board usually seems relatively happy

On a actual serious note does anyone have any visibility to how long such a better pattern would last , it always seems like a weenie trap to me that some think any change will be prolonged , and while those things are possible (and will only be known further down the road ) how long is the general favorable period good for at this point. Do we have an idea or not really . Serious question as obviously the board is looking forward to it...be it the 6’th or the 9’th . We can’t really see past the 15’th can we ?
