Time to go down to the bar at the overlook hotel here Ne of Cheektowaga . I’m lucky to be here safely and that is not a understatement . Buffalo snow weenie discord says 200-300 cars stuck in Cheektowaga and they are masking them off with yellow tape If the people are out of them

It is on transit rd briefly before the on ramp to I-90 Will , you think they Will shut down I-90 Saturday overnite ? Trying to gauge the family angst lol / arrival back time

I may try the la Quinta inn by Buffalo Niagara Apt it’s on what looks like a main road 1/4 mile or less from I-90 ramp . Let’s see what happens if I’m stuck lol

I may take a ride . Depends if i can get out of Buffalo area via being close to a highway by 9pm Saturday evening . That road in west Seneca where all the Hotels are is a 1/2 mile from I-90. Just wonder if I’ll be stuck on that side road that the hotels are on or just have to wait in lot for a plow lol to hit it

Raynham blows . I grew up in N Raynham. 1 mile S of dog track Where Robinson street meets Anne street . N side of Easton a good 5 miles NW of where I lived was and further is where the gradient usually is in my experience N Easton is consistently better .

I grew up in Raynham , we were pretty comparable to providence . No s shore OE , Usually died about 5-8 miles NE of me wrong side of coastal front , i was pretty sure It was a bit under . PVD occasionally colder when winds were East and occasionally we did better being a bit east. I was often a sad weenie in my years there. 92’ blizzard was 2-3” lol super storm 11” then pouring rains leaving 3” glacier .

Does CT see tide issues unless it’s like ESE wind funneling up Long Island sound ? Most of the wave action is blocked from almost all wind directions by Long Island which is why nobody surfs there unless it’s extreme SE coast - stonington- and those barriers like islands by RI border - Ginxy ?

What have you got for snow the last 8 years . I’m trying to see if you’ve done that well or not really. I know you got a blizzard last year but I’d guess you average 35-37 ish . Any idea your totals over last several years

No disaster , this isn’t some mega dew torch thankfully , I’m not fully sold on the extent of front end snows but quick hitting driving rains then hopefully some resurfacing , especially in VT

Wrong part of New England for a pack guy I do like snow around holidays and since I can’t ditch my entire family for snowier pastures , I’m gonna try and make some dayum snow
