  1. Euro looks just like 0z thru 30 hrs thou more of W CT gets in on thump
  2. Thanks , I was waiting for euro to book . Anything about Sunapee in particular that you like
  3. I think I’m going with a ride to wildcat manana , ski Friday stay at Glenn house (1600’) ski Saturday . I don’t see many ways they get less than 8-10” and probably more like 12-20 And I’m guessing they will keep power
  4. For the 495 crowd If you look at hour 36 if the low could just bleed East a tad bit more before curling up into cape cod at hour 39 , that would bring more areas N and W of Boston into the game (I think)
  5. Gfs looks thumpy for a good chunk of CT sorta appears to make wider right turn under us even if it ends up in a similar position for sat am
  6. Peoples logic never surprise me , last year at this time folks wanted Baby it’s cold outside to be banned and Wet Azz P*SSY was the number one song at the time . Everyone sees snow differently, some are fine with their climo (they have made peace with it ) , I just don’t know if Taunton blizzard would be as skeptical in woodford Vt at 2k, but people also sort of get used to what they average sometimes and what was once special is just normal . When I moved Back up from Florida I was cool with a 10” season and then my psychosis set in over the years . I want morrrrre.
  7. Have been bouncing around spots trying to decide where to chase/ski / stay over Friday / Friday nite as my pass has hunter , mount snow , Crotched , Sunapee , wildcat but with work till 8 this pm , I’d prefer to leave in early (6)am , not to mention prices at mount snow are pretty steep for lodging I wonder if wildcat will be too far north or does the East flow kinda give them a decent “floor”
  8. I mean really ... Mount snow has a 1900’ base / 3600 summit Just not sure if they get any easterly flow boost
  9. Berkshire East has a base elevation of 660’ Yikes big gradient over 1140’ feet vertical With this one
  10. Lava rocks elevation is certainly gonna help he may crush Friday nite
  11. The 0z was least snowiest of the entire week so i think the thump was just better and more like yesterday, also it thru a reach around 1-3 for Merrimack valley . I was most hoping it’s ML tracked more toward GFS’s
  12. Its hard for me to say , but tracking the storm and watching So many models roll out for the 3 days leading up to a storm seems almost as enjoyable as the storm itself
  13. I mean gfs took this to bench mark for a couple runs ..then it went NW 100 miles over 18 hours For its sat am position . I just wouldn’t say gfs schooled it .
  14. That LR look ( now medium range ) is impressive , Has trended well as it’s gotten closer .
  15. One thing that has been nice to see (dare I ginx it ) is the progression of the 500 mb anomalies on EPS /GFS and in particular the trough diving into N Rockies and moving *SE* and not seeing lower heights ooze SW toward 4 corners states . This is a look I like overall a good amount *and confidence has increased * let’s see it hold on 48 more hrs and lock-it in
