  1. Yeah I didn’t hear a thing. and those storms were just sitting to the west of me. Fizzled out
  2. Some flakes in the air as I leave Newark airport Heavy snow falling near the New Jersey/ New York state line
  3. Just shut off the outdoor water again. That’s a first
  4. Given what the forecast looks like, I imagine 2022 will firmly be in the top 10.
  5. How close are we to warmest March? Have to be close at this point, right? This is endless warmth
  6. If you’re going to live in a climate like that you better have a ski slope nearby. Nice and cheap though!
  7. Very sad at the ski areas Great season coming to a quick end This sums up Belleayre today
  8. I made that same call Presidents week. with little variation here and there, it was a good call
  9. Very alarming that entire swaths of winter now get cancelled out with extended +10 type weather. It is the end of March, so no one cares…but a warm month is about to get a whole lot warmer
  10. 3 rounds of accumulating snow in 48 hours. Didnt happen all winter. Happened today. Ironic
  11. You can’t lump Brooklyn and queens with Long Island. They are two urban areas with lots of concrete that genuinely has an effect on weather. Useless factoid: by Supreme Court decision, Long Island isnt an island but a peninsula extending from the mainland separated by a tidal straight
  12. 32F. been snowing heavily for most of the morning. There’s a dusting on the ground. Given the little elevation and the distance from the city, what has fallen, and the back edge…Im going to say the city and LI are done. Southern Westchester away from Urban core pretty, north of 287 good, north of 84 ca-ching
  13. Which means you had a pretty garbage winter. Dont spin it as anything else. haha How many days did you have snow on the ground in Brooklyn? Even a week?
  14. This is crazy still 70° at 9 PM. The level of warmth and the duration of it is just astounding
  15. Ton of powder at Belleayre today from overnight snow!
  16. Yeah. Im in agreement with you. 37F at 8 am
  17. I actually kind of like it. We have been bombarded with humidity, heat, and endless bugs from late June through October. Frankly, I find our new endless summer climate disgusting. I rather enjoy the cool springs. But this is all opinion and conjecture, and one should never assume that there is a universal opinion on these things.
  18. I said this 2 weeks ago. Never say never, but pretty sure it’s over
