    Ok a visual lightning/ and thunder in Clemson SC late this afternoon… old winter lore is 10 days out snow or ice will fall. .

    True story re 93 Blizzard. I was in Charlotte area for ACC Basketball Tourney… headed into town in my Jeep…when over my radio… “ Blizzard Warning, if you are in your car, get off the highway immediately and seek shelter..” .

    Clemson 27 degrees currently Overnight mix of sleet and snow Driveway just shoveled Showed at least inch to 2 inches Currently ice still falling… trees are also just now icing We got lucky up till now Guess we will see when the heavy precip passes. .

    I fear this storm will surprise some folks, make some folks really happy and disappoint others… been a long time since I have seen such disagreement with models… and yes I am sure the Mets are cautious… they get graded on these forecasts and this one is a physics exam you did not study for! .

    I remember many big snows the day after 70’s… it usually happens more in March… but it has happened !

    Clemson SC / Western Upstate… we have a definite 3 inches of snowfall… looks like we are having sleet mix in.. very gusty winds… all trees and plants with leaves are weighted down.
