Just epic. And still coming down hard. This is one of the greatest of all time here that I can remember in my lifetime, was born 2 years after 78. I’ve got 5’ drifts along my stockade fence. A little concerned this is going to take some effort to clear even with the snowblower!

This is unreal if it continues at 2-3 an hour for another 4-5 hours here. I’ve seen some great storms here, this is going to be right up there from what I can see (barely) out the window right now. What a storm. Still just ripping out there.

I agree. I didn’t loose power for Sandy, and for more than a couple hours at any time that I’ve been at this location in the past 25 years. That said, hope I haven’t jinxed myself.

This is impressive. Absolutely ripping out here right now! if another 8”+ come down on top of this it’s going to be unreal, and seems probable.

This has been a solid winter. Snow and cold in December, minor warm up in January with more snow and sustained cold to preserve the coverage and now cold and snow again. I’ll take this any winter, they don’t often work out this way on the east end. Yeah, another 10”-14” shot would be great but if nothing else materializes this has still been fantastic for lasting snow coverage and cold. Gotta enjoy and appreciate it! Currently 14° and blowing fine snow.

About 1” OTG here. My brother in East Hampton has 3” so far.

Love the deep winter feel. My oil burner could use a break though! I suppose it all averages out over the years. Not too often do you see this many people ice fishing out here, pretty cool to be able to take advantage of this cold stretch.
