    I haven't looked at snowfall maps but every time I am constantly seeing posts about snow in the Boone and Beech Mountain areas of NC. Seems like the hills down there are having a decent year so far.

    Seeing as how one of the selling points my wife used to convince me to move back from Raleigh was the chance to see more snow, I have been fully prepared for them to have a better winter than me at some point.

    Coating on driveway and cars, grass is starting to whiten up as well. Just food for the soul. Nothing like snow falling with the Christmas lights and music on.

    Some light flurries, would be nice to see it pick up just for a little bit but we'll see.

    Not sure where they're getting my 1-2" of snow I supposedly got. Would love if they could tell me so I could go find it.

    Pixie dust falling, just got back from a nice walk with our 10 month old to make sure she loves this stuff as much as I do.

    Flakes starting to mix in, too little too late down here.

    Just don't see it happening outside of some flakes before it wraps up. Was hopeful today would turn out better. On to the next one.

    Maybe it's the 8 yrs living in NC, or my standards just declined as I get older (see eating my kids scraps for dinner) but even just seeing flakes falling the weekend before Christmas would be enough for me.

    Power out much quicker than I was expecting. Perks of working from home means today just got a lot quieter for me.

    Same down here, wish we could get an actual snowfall but I suppose I will take at least getting to see snow.

    Looks like heavier returns may be starting to help switch us back over, seeing more fat flakes mixing in.
