when are we going to get the next *Jonas* ;'-) that was a real HECS.

It can easily get very hot again after this nonsense goes away In July 1993 we had a cutoff noreaster rainstorm much like this one on July 2nd, when we had a high of 66 and a low of 62. A week later we were off to the races with a 10 day heatwave and 3-5 days of 100+ It pays to live through this stuff and have a good memory. Also, it hit 108 on that day in Newark and 103-104 for the rest of the airports and local area.

I don't think anyone misses cold weather lol Getting it in the winter is different, in the summer we want heat records.
-
you really need a space heater, I keep my bedroom at 82 degrees, it's a nice dry heat and destroys all the stupid cold outside :-)
-
I want climate change to accelerate so this kind of nonsense can never happen again.
-
Yeah this is why I don't agree with any of models saying it's going to be cloudy tomorrow and Sunday. We know our climate and what happens here on westerly and northwesterly winds-- the skies clear out. Tomorrow and Sunday will both be partly sunny and Monday will be mostly sunny.

JFK: 33 (2022) Tony, should this be 43?
-
No one around here wants any rain anymore I'm glad new england is getting most of this, we have a midatlantic climate here.
-
I don't see that happening Tony, I think the sun will come out tomorrow, the wind will be WNW which is a dry downsloping wind. I think the forecasts for it being cloudy tomorrow will bust, I've seen it time and again when we clear out on that kind of wind here.

we had one on July 2, 1993 when it hit 67 for the high lol. A week later it was 100+ for three straight days and we were off to the races......
-
Yeah this spring absolutely sucks, the last two were much better.
-
as long as the sun comes out for the majority of the weekend it's fine. mostly cloudy skies = washout
-
sne can keep the rain no one wants it anymore
-
Hopefully the winds don't get too strong there.
-
isn't this too close to the coast? inside the benchmark and all?
-
Now THIS is worth it. I can't stand cold rain, but snow looks beautiful and feels MUCH better than cold rain too lol.
-
I thought you meant, *Anything to keep the heat on*
-
the 50s are right now, next week will be warmer.
-
crap I have to worry about basement flooding in my house there. any river flooding issues along the Lehigh or Delaware Rivers?
-
a real noreaster!

hmm does he know if there's been any snow near the Lake Harmony and Albrightsville area-- elevation around 2,200 feet.
-
Does enso have any influence on summer heat? It's already back to neutral.
-
wow this was unexpected, I'm headed there for Memorial Day weekend. Probably nothing on the ground up there though.

The earth needs to be moved closer to Venus.

No one is going to take climate change seriously with winter-type weather occurring in May lol. We all know it's happening but people yearn for warmth this time of year. If anything the people I've talked to said they want climate change to speed up so this kind of crap weather can't happen anymore. They were being serious too.
